Clinical Supervision

Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) in Massachusetts are required to complete 3,500 hours of supervised clinical practice in order to achieve Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) status. This supervision is not automatically provided for some LCSWs, who may need to seek such services externally.

District personnel are prepared to offer you human-centered, developmentally-informed, supervision services to help you achieve your goal of LICSW status.
