Personal Coaching
vs. Therapy
We’re all different, and the world of personal growth is never a one-size-fits-all. While personal coaching and formalized therapy both center around helping you regain yourself, they offer distinct benefits from one another that may feel right for where you are in this moment.
Personal Coaching:
Centers around your own goals, aspirations, and questions
Focuses on your reconnection with yourself, what you want, and where you want your future to go
Does not involve primary care authorization or involvement from health insurance, placing you firmly in the driver’s seat
Formalized Therapy:
Centers around the
assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health conditionsFocuses on identifying and reducing symptoms of mental health conditions
May require primary care authorization, be billed via
health insurance, and can be subject to their ongoing approval of services
